Check the region coding. Many tuition DVDs for various subjects are marked as Region 0, which means they will work in any DVD player in the world, but if you get one that's from a foreign country and is not the right region for the area you live in, it may not work. It's very important to check this stuff when buying learn Spanish DVDs as some of them originate from other countries, and this can obviously cause problems.

Get the best you can afford. When buying things like this, the cheapest is not always best.
